Fireworks over the Charles Bridge
Krásný nový rok v Praze! Beautiful new year in Prague! On New Year's Eve, the people of Prague gather in the city center to set off dazzling fireworks in celebration of the coming new year. There is no official firework display from the city of Prague on New Year's Eve - the fireworks instead come from individuals, and from all directions! Standing on the Mánes Bridge, we could see the sparkling displays and hear the resounding booms of the fireworks from all around us. They were a beautiful sight and an exciting welcome for the new year. Here's to 2017 - na zdraví!
